Epilepsy Association Secunderabad EAS Election 2026 Guidelines

Nomination for EAS Elections 2026 can be filled up, from Thursday, 9th April 2026 · 08:00 AM → to Sunday, 19th April 2026 · 5:00 PM,India Time.

Eligibility Criteria

President-Elect
  • 1Must be an EAS Life Member for at least 5 years, of good standing.
  • 2Should have actively contributed to EAS activities.
  • 3Experience in Executive Committee (minimum one term) is compulsory.
  • 4Nomination must be proposed and seconded by EAS Life Members.
Secretary
  • 1The candidate must be a Life Member of EAS in good standing.
  • 2The candidate should have actively contributed to EAS activities.
  • 3Experience in Executive Committee (minimum one term) is compulsory.
  • 4The nomination must be proposed and seconded by Life Members of EAS.
Treasurer
  • 1The candidate must be a Life Member of EAS in good standing.
  • 2The candidate should have actively contributed to EAS activities.
  • 3Experience in Executive Committee (minimum one term) is compulsory.
  • 4The nomination must be proposed and seconded by Life Members of EAS.
Executive Members
  • 1The candidate must be a Life Member of EAS in good standing
  • 2The candidate should have actively contributed to EAS activities.
  • 3 Experience in Executive Committee (optional)
  • 4The nomination must be proposed and seconded by Life Members of EAS.

Nominations Procedure

You will have to login with the following credentials:
  • Your registered Email ID or Mobile Number, and
  • Your Membership Number and Membership Type.
  • Select OTP Delivery Method:

    Please select any ONE option
  • Click "Send OTP"
  • OTP will be sent to your
      • Your Registered mobile number via your selected method (WhatsApp or SMS)

      • Your Registered Email ID
  • OTP Page will appear after clicking "Send OTP."
  • Please enter this 6-digit code
  • You will be able to log in and see the Nomination Form
  • Select the position that you wish to apply for (President Elect, Secretary, Treasurer or Executive Member
  • Upload your Brief CV (in PDF format only, of file size up to 2 MB). This will be visible to all voters
  • Upload your photograph (in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format, file size up to 2 MB)
  • Depending upon the position you wish to contest for, you are required to enter respective details.
  • You will need to provide a Proposer and Seconder for your nomination. These should be EAS Life Members. They should approve your nomination before the end of the nomination period. You will need to enter their EAS Membership Number & Membership type. The email ID of the said member will be displayed. An email will be sent to both the proposer and seconder. Important: Kindly check with them in advance that their emails are in EAS records. If their emails are not in EAS records, you will not be allowed to submit your application.
  • After filling the nomination form, review all details carefully and click Submit.
  • A message will be displayed that your nomination has been successfully submitted.
Important to note that your Proposer AND Seconder are required to approve your nomination BEFORE Sunday, 19th April 2026, 5:00 PM, India Time

Nomination Withdrawal

  • You can withdraw your nomination between Monday, 13th April 2026, 10 AM to Sunday, 26th April 2026, 5 PM India Time
  • You can go to the same login link
  • You will receive an OTP on your mobile by WhatsApp or SMS, as well as by email
  • Please enter this 6-digit OTP
  • You will see your nomination
  • There will be an option to withdraw. Click on that
  • A message will be displayed that your nomination has been withdrawn.
Proposers and Seconders (to approve by Sunday, 19th April 2026, 5:00 PM, India Time)
  • EAS Members who have been mentioned as Proposer and Seconder will receive an email with a link.
  • On clicking the link, you will be directed to a page where you will see name of the EAS member and the position for which the member has submitted a nomination.
  • To approve the candidature, click on APPROVE option.
  • You will receive an OTP on your mobile by SMS as well as by email
  • Please enter this 6-digit OTP and click on Submit
  • A message will be displayed that your support for candidature has been successfully submitted.
