Governing document of the Epilepsy Association of Secunderabad
The society shall be called the Epilepsy Association of Secunderabad (EAS), registered under the Societies Registration Act in Telangana, India.
To promote scientific study, research, and awareness of epilepsy; to assist in the education of medical professionals; and to support patients and their families.
Open to medical graduates, healthcare professionals, researchers, allied health workers, and interested public with commitment to epilepsy care.
An elected Executive Committee comprising President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and six elected members shall govern EAS affairs.
Annual General Meetings shall be held each year. Executive elections shall occur every two years through democratic ballot among all eligible members.
EAS operates with full transparency, guided by a formal constitution that ensures democratic representation, ethical conduct, and accountability to all members.
All executive positions are filled through open elections with equal voting rights for eligible members.
Financial statements and activity reports are presented annually at the AGM and made available to all members.
A code of conduct and grievance redressal mechanism ensures fair and ethical operation of all EAS activities.
