Explanation

Bilateral abducens nerve palsy, oculomotor and trochlear nerve palsy have been reported due to downward displacement of brain causing traction or compression of the cranial nerves. Changes in perilymph pressure may cause dizziness and meniere disease like presentation. Personality changes, fronto temporal dementia, parkinsonism, chorea and coma have been reported. Bibrachial amyotrophy and motor neuron disease like presentation may result from compression by ventral extradural CSF collection. Recurrent bleeding may cause long term superficial siderosis.
