Explaination: Among drugs causing intracranial hypertension, the strongest association was with tetracycline antibiotics, Vitamin A derivatives, lithium and recombinant growth hormone. Among other antibiotics, quinolones, nalidixic acid and nitrofurantoin can cause IIH. Vitamin A, retinoic acid for acne and all trans retinoic acid are well known causes of IIH. Hormones like oral contraceptives, gonadotropin releasing hormone (leuprolide), and thyroxine in children have weak association. Other drugs include anabolic steroids (stanozolol), ketoconazole, amiodarone and corticosteroid withdrawal
