68 year old man has difficulty reading. He can write a sentence but cannot read his own words. On testing he has a right sided hemianopia. In addition to the occipital lobe which area is most likely affected?

Patient has alexia without agraphia, acquired inability to read but can write. Localization is left occipital cortex with extension to involve the splenium. Its is a disconnection syndrome, due to a disconnection between the intact right visual cortex & angular gyrus.
